Tercüme, the journal of the Translation Bureau, was a platform for translation
criticism during the 00 years of its publication. The journal consisted of two
sections. The first section featured translated works, which were sometimes
accompanied by the original texts. The second section included translation
criticism and general commentaries on translation. The critiques and
comments published in Tercüme offer extensive information about the
concepts of translation to which the contributors to the journal subscribed.
