Please note the following:

Students eligible to take BA electives (Departmental Electives) may register for a maximum of five courses in total during the initial registration period, including (i) required courses, (ii) BA electives, (iii) non-departmental electives, and (iv) free electives. One-hour laboratory courses and non-credit courses are excluded from this limit.
If a student registers for more than five courses in the categories listed above, their registration will not be approved until they reduce the total number of courses to five by dropping the extra electives. Please note that required courses cannot be dropped to meet the five-course limit. Students must drop any additional elective courses instead. Those who wish to take additional courses must add them during the add-drop period.
Exception for Graduating Students: The five-course limit does not apply to students who need to take more than five 0-credit courses per semester to complete their degree requirements within two semesters (including summer school).
