**Thea swallowed her protest. He was flying.**
**The wind whipped against her, pulling the breath from her lungs, but the way he handled the curves—so smooth, so deliberate—made it hard to stay angry. It was maddening how effortlessly he made it look.**
"Coward!" **she screamed, though she was mostly shouting it into his back. She wanted to make it clear she wasn't impressed by the speed, even if her own heart waspounding against her ribs in a way that had nothing to do with fear.**
