More than any book in recent memory, this one was fun to write. I owe
that to Kelly Link’s technique of starting by knowing the last lines of the
book. Doing that, even though I wasn’t sure I could, gave me something
to hang on to throughout the many, many revisions. After all this time, a
change in my process that actually worked!
