The chaos in Syria continues to pose a significant threat to us Kurds. Turkey’s political maneuvers are driving the region towards instability while consolidating its position. Russia and Iran are no longer as influential, and in the areas vacated by the Syrian regime, Kurds are left vulnerable and unprotected. Meanwhile, the United States is undergoing a transitional period and is not in a position to focus on the current crisis.
You have stated that Kurds and Israel are natural allies. In a crisis of this magnitude, we, the Kurds, expect a concrete step from you to demonstrate the seriousness of your words. This is what we are waiting for.
