Cyclopes Polyphemus vs Odysseus
Cyclopes were a family Giants having a single
round eye in the middle of their forehead.
Cyclopes were favorites of Zeus. They were

thunderbolts. Zeus gave them a home in a fortunate country where the vineyards and corn lands, unplowed and unsown, bore fruits plenteously. They had great flocks of sheep and goats as well, and they lived at their ease. Their fierceness and savagery temper, however, did not grow less; they had no laws or courts of justice, but each one did as he pleased.
