The transformation of a profane object to a manifestation of the sacred directly depends on the
meaning ascribed to it by the religious man. In other words, religious people's realization of their religious experience through hierophanies, which they regard as the manifestation of the sacred, causes the worshiped object to be separated from its counterparts in nature and become a sacred object. This perspective inevitably elevates the religious man to an effective position in determination of the sacred.
